Fancy a workshop that is different than usual? Dance school AlHambra in Utrecht has the following options:

- BELLY DANCE Dancing to irresistible rhythms and melodies (with flexible hips and undulating bellies). A real belly dance costume for the bride to be and tinkling hip scarves for the participants. After the workshop, an Oriental High Tea with Moroccan mint tea and snacks will await you. A group outing that is guaranteed to be convivial and unforgettable. Especially for the bride: a “Ritual Felicitation”.

Duration:  1:30 hours or 2 hours.

 

Arrangement Belly Dance

Prijs: € 20 p/p with a minimum of € 200, this is including hall rental, use of beautiful belly dance costume for the bride and skirts, tops and tinkling hip scarves for the participants, and a small Oriental High Tea. 

Duration: 1:30 hours.

 

Arrangement Belly Dance Plus

Prijs: € 25 p/p with a minimum of € 250, this is including hall rental, use of beautiful belly dance costume for the bride and skirts, tops and tinkling hip scarves for the participants, and a large Oriental High Tea. 

Duration: 2 hours.

- BOLLYWOOD Namaste! Welcome to the workshop Bollywood. A mix of traditional Indian dance with influences from salsa, belly dance and hip-hop. Colourful, joyful and lively on popular Indian film scores. Interaction and fun are the most important. Costumes for bride and participants. Afterwards you may stay and chat while enjoying a refreshing Indian lassi and a snack. You will receive your own Bollywood film. Yazila took Bollywood dance classes with Monica Kapoor in New York City.

Kamasutra cocktail

Want to make a toast to the bride? Give your workshop an extra festive touch with an exotic and sensual Kamasutra cocktail. € 5 p/p

Price: € 20 p/p with a minimum of €200, this is including hall rental, use of beautiful costumes for the bride and participants, drinks, and an original Indian lassi with a savory snack.

- FLAMENCO ARABE Originated with the Moorish civilisation that was present in Southern Spain for centuries. The artistic match of passionate Spanish dance and sensual belly dance. Graceful arm movements, swirling skirts and swaying hips. Yazila makes this style her unique specialty. Costumes for everyone and afterwards sangria and an oriental snack.

- CHILDREN'S PARTIES Dance like an Oriental Princess in a beautiful costume, tinkling hip scarves for your friends. Sweets and soft drinks afterwards.

Duration: 1 hour.

- COMPANY WORKSHOPS Good for the team spirit! Afterwards an Oriental High Tea during which Yazila talks about the traditions, rituals and taboos of the Oriental dance. In Yazila's atmospheric studio or on a location specified by the client.

Duration of the programme: from 1 hour to a full afternoon or evening with performances and live music. Customisation and careful arrangements with the client.
