With years of experience as a dance teacher and performer, Yazila knows how to turn every bachelor party into a festive “experience outing”.  Interaction and fun are the most important. During the belly dancing in the beautiful Eastern studio AlHambra – in the centre of Utrecht – you imagine yourself to be a part of the atmosphere of the Arabian Nights.

 

 

 

In a contagious way, Yazila inspires you during the workshop to go on a voyage of discovery to unexpected talents. 

 

During the bachelor workshop, you dance in an ambiance similar to the Arabian Nights, on irresistible, sensual and exhilarating Eastern rhythms and melodies. In a playful manner, you learn a joyful and challenging dance with flexible hips, undulating bellies and graceful arms. For the bride we have a beautiful belly dance- or Bollywood costume and tinkling hip scarves and skirts for the participants. Especially for the bride: a “Ritual Felicitation”.

 

After the workshop belly dancing or Bollywood, you can lounge in the cushions. Let yourself be pampered with an Oriental High Tea with Moroccan mint tea or a refreshing Indian lassi. Curious about the backgrounds of these ancient and mysterious dances? Yazila loves to tell you about the traditions, taboos and rituals.

 

With this workshop, your bachelor party will be an unforgettable experience and a guaranteed success. Suitable for all ages, experience in dancing not necessary.

- BOLLYWOOD  Namaste! Welcome to the workshop Bollywood. Bollywood is a mix of traditional Indian dance styles with influences from salsa, hip-hop and belly dance. Colourful, joyful and lively on popular Indian film scores. Interaction and fun are the most important. Yazila has received training in New York by the famous Broadway musical star Monica Kapoor. Costumes for bride and participants. Afterwards you may stay and chat while enjoying a refreshing Indian lassi and a snack. You will receive your own Bollywood film from the workshop.

Kama Sutra cocktail:  A toast for the bride? Make your workshop extra festive  with an exotiic and sensual Kama Sutra cocktail. € 5 p/p

Prijs: € 20 p/p with a minimum of €200, this is including hall rental, use of beautiful costumes for the bride and participants, drinks, and an original Indian lassi with a savory snack.

Duration: 1.30 hour.

- BELLY DANCING  Dancing to irresistible rhythms and melodies (with flexible hips and undulating bellies). A real belly dance costume for the bride to be and tinkling hip scarves for the participants. After the workshop belly dancing, an Oriental High Tea with Moroccan mint tea and snacks will await you. Arrangement Belly Dance

Price: € 20 p/p

Studio Alhambra

We have at our disposal a beautiful studio in the style of the Arabian Nights with a wooden dance floor and mirrors and an Eastern lounge/seating area with kelims and cushions. The studio is located in the centre of Utrecht at a walking distance from restaurants and shops.
